We’re now six hours into our 24-hour race to help Downtown Streets Team create an amazing marketing campaign. Let’s check-in with each of the teams to see where they are.
The Content Team is auditing Downtown Street Team’s current messaging. They’re putting together an outline of current messaging elements, and are identifying ways to bring more clarity to their brand message. The team is pushing hard to discover a central message upon which they will then establish tone and style for long and short form copy.
The Web Team are auditing Downtown Streets Team’s current website, going through the site map, and making sure that they move the right pages forward. This audit involves making sure that all of the required pages are verified, and moved forward into the design process.
The Engineering Team has divided and conquered. As the team responsible for the backend implementation after the website design has been completed, they’re focusing on making sure they’re ready for the build later tonight. They’ve come up with a game plan and a set of tasks to prepare for the build. In short order, they assigned responsibilities to make sure everything is ready to go tonight.
The Social Team is currently helping the content team get to the right general brand messaging, to then plug that into social media copy and visual collateral.
The visuals team have come up with three visual explorations, and are now narrowing it down to one. They’re hard at work judging each approach, and looking for the right visual direction to support the Downtown Streets Team brand.
Each team is pushing hard to turn their insights into opportunities. Soon, teams will be making decisions to move work forward and start adding fidelity to designs, and bringing them to life—stay tuned!
