Earlier this afternoon two groups combined to hash out the new
RAFT sitemap. After accepting a general flow, the teams created a series of wireframes to visualize what the website pages structure would look like. By shaping the pages, the content teams were able to get started brainstorming new copy.
If you look at the pages, the structure on this new website is dramatically different than the current
www.raft.net. Under normal circumstances, we wouldn't put dummy text in these wireframes, but there are too many moving pieces to coordinate at the same time. You can still get a good idea of what we're trying to accomplish.
The above wireframes were quickly created from low-fi sketches. Here is an example of the how the team used sketches to convey functionality to the engineering team.
