Support comes in many different forms tonight as we focus our sights on the finish line. We would be remiss without a shout-out to many of the supporters who have been with us throughout our 24-hour odyssey. These are the people holding the cups of water at the sidelines, ready to replenish our sagging spirits as we dig deep and remember that the temporary state of sleepy is outweighed by our desire to make a difference.
Our neighborhood Starbucks shop here in Campbell is as awesome this year as they were during last year’s ZURB Wired in providing delicious refreshment just before they closed at 10pm. We bow to their excellent beverage creation skillsets.
Many different ZURBians’ family members stopped by to say an encouraging word, bring in renewed energy and lift our spirits. We couldn’t do this without their support and enthusiasm for Wired.
And our new favorite fantastic superhero massage therapist Shelby Bearschild has been here for a solid eight hours and has provided individual deep tissue attention all the ZURBians that signed up for a turn. We’re trying to figure out a way to adopt her into a permanent rotation for ongoing attention to our shoulders and neck tension areas, but think she might only be a special-occasion kind of treat.
Working together is one thing, but getting outside support is what helps make us super awesome and spectacular! Thank you all for helping to make ZURB Wired 2013 a great event!
