After the morning scrum everyone jumped into groups of four or five people to jam on ideas for the overall campaign. After an hour everyone went to each team’s office in turn to review each other’s work. Each brainstorming group — which had a mix of many disciplines — had to answer certain questions. “In one sentence, what is Sacred Heart?” “What is the theme for this holiday program?” The nonprofit’s purpose, outreach, brand identity … everything was queried and rethought over the next hour.
