A Lesson in Self Promotion with Tim Ferriss

This past soapbox event was by far the biggest one yet! We had well over 100 people here at ZURB HQ, gathered to hear Tim Ferriss share some of his tips and tricks. Tim sat down with us for a Q&A about his tactics for self promotion, building community, and productivity.

Thanks for these excellent soapbox episodes. For us out in the upstate east coast we appreciate it. Our design office loves playing these out loud to our development team however, When questions are being asked they aren't well recorded which makes it very difficult for others to hear. It puts the context for whatever answer to follow difficult to hear.

I appreciate how real and honest these speakers come across. Whatever the environment is over there it comes through these talks.

You're guests both challenge us an inspire us to create better web stuff!

oh and thanks to Tim Ferriss for speaking!

@Ethan No problem Ethan! Glad to hear these soapboxes inspire you! Same goes for all of us here. It's so neat to hear some of these lessons learned of failures and success from folks who have created amazing things.

We'll do our best to make sure the questions are recorded better for the next event.

Which company do you work at?

This was a great talk. Thank you for organizing and giving us a chance to meet Tim in such a personal, interactive setting. I thoroughly enjoyed all the insights Tim shared. It was a meaty discussion that was interesting from beginning to end. Super of you to summarize too. I think most of us were too engrossed listening to take notes!

Not a problem Rita. Glad you enjoyed the event. Tim is full of fascinating stuff. We've got some great ones coming up soon, stay tuned. :)
