Last year we announced our new mission, change the way people design connected products and services. We do this in lots of different ways- through the products we help companies design, the tools and training we provide and the thinking we put out in the world through our blog and articles for other channels. Our website is the hub of these efforts, the portal through which people can enter in to explore and discover, and it’s undergone a complete transformation. Meet the new ZURB.
Design Insights - The Key to Our Success
During our twenty year history of product design, we’ve been able to consistently harness the power of Design Insights- breakthroughs that reveal behavior patterns and drive bold decisions. These inspired connections transform our understanding of problems, point us in new directions, rapidly accelerate our progress, and lead us towards better solutions. You’ll find them all over the site, in our case studies, articles, and event summaries.
To help us surface Design Insights over the entire course of a project, we’ve developed a new tool called Helio. Helio allows to share pieces of our work and solicit feedback from nearly 100,000 people around the globe and get results in mere hours. Drawing on the opinions, experiences and perspectives of such a wide variety of people and in such a short amount of time allows us to quickly work through even the most complicated problems, course correcting at every step of the way and preventing us from going too far down a wrong path.
We’re pumped about Design Insights. They’ve transformed our business and been the catalyst for unstoppable momentum in our projects. In a very real sense, they’re the future of design, and we’re excited about helping organizations harness their power to build incredible products and services.
Design for People
Our mantra has always been “Design for People,” and people have always been at the center of everything we do. For the new ZURB.com, we wanted to put special focus on the people behind ZURB and highlight our wonderful team and our unique culture. The new site is loaded with colorful images of our team, life at ZURB HQ and a few candid magic moments.
We also realized it was time to be even bolder about our thinking. The new ZURB.com puts even more of our client work front and center. It’s our thinking in action, living examples of new ways companies can tackle the biggest problems and challenges.
Lastly, the site is filled with cows, 42 of them in fact. Why 42 cows? We’ll save that for a future post, but they’re hidden around the site in the most unexpected places. They’re just one of the many interactive elements of ZURB.com with many more to come.
