ON TEACHING:

"Thank you so much. I could tell the students were inspired (I was inspired) by the looks on their faces and the rapt attention to your demonstrations. Very excellent to have you present today. You have a great presentation style. You really raised the bar for log books, that's for sure.

I think I would like to take your advanced drawing class. Too bad I have to wait for the Fall."
    -Craig Lauchner, Stanford Lecturer

"As a teacher, he's got a great process that challenges his students ability to think with flexibility. He did with me. It also seems he takes his own flexibility and creativity to customers and creates value. Good stuff Bryan."
    -Brian Lamb, Stanford Student

Bryan neglects to mention what an amazing teacher he is. He infuses every class period with as much creative energy and artistic talent as he does with every project or job, and he's one of the most approachable teachers I've ever met. His ME110B (Advanced Design Sketching) course is undoubtedly the best class I've taken during my 3 years at Stanford.

ON CONSULTING:

"This guy really gets it. Great website, great attitude, high integrity."
    -John M, ClickTracks CEO

"Bryan is a wonderful and creative designer. He has a great ability to turn a complex design problem into a beautiful and simple work of art that meets the company objective."
-Mary Anne Petrillo, Achieva Creative Director

"I have worked with Bryan, and he is a true professional. I really like Bryan's energy, his attitude, and he is extremely creative. Bryan is one of those rare entrepreneurs that deliver, and is trully passionate about what he does. Bryan/Zurb has been a tremendous resource to my organization. I enjoy collaborating with Bryan on new strategies."
    -Girish Mirchandani, SVI Search Principle

"Bryan's work is extremely creative. He has been able to turn the very dull of technology into bold and interesting. His most recent work for my company was the graphics for an article on fiber optics. His graphics ended up being on the front page of a major tech magazine. See Lightwave Europe, Sept 2002 issue."
    -Jim Aldridge, Finisar

"Great Man! Bryan has helped us at REDIMAT launch a visually pleasing, creative and reader-friendly website, in a very short period of time. We think of him as not just our web-designer and business consultant (he has spent hours above and beyond the call of duty designing our logo, advising us on our web focus and direction, etc.) but, as our friend, too. His adventurous spirit, generous nature and courage is enviable."
    -Ellie Creelman-Hons, General Manager, Redimat

"Most people in their early 20s who take the bold step of casting off a coveted job with a regular paycheck have the naive confidence but not the smarts and talent to make their dreams come true. Bryan does. Bryan designed identity and website for ClickTracks.com. Excellent work. ClickTrack's owner lead me to Bryan. The business cards that Bryan created for me get rave reviews among my realtor colleagues who say the cards are the best they have seen and then ask if they can copy my cards! I lamented to Bryan that my distinctive cards were at risk of appearing everywhere. Bryan assured me "Not to worry." If the first cards he created are widely copied, he will create for me the next best thing. I believe him ...and can't wait!"
    -Lisa Deverse, Los Gatos Realtor

ON ART:

"I've only met Bryan a couple of times, most recently at his exhibition of his work in Sausalito about 6 months ago. I really love his ZURBart stuff in particular, and I have bought two pieces from him. I am a digital photographer as well and like to play around with photos in PhotoShop too, but what he does is pure quality. Bryan is a very amiable person and has had no problems answering all my prying 'how do you do that?' questions so I really respect him for that."
    -Rory Wales, Dublin, Ireland

GENERAL:

"Ye gods, I had no idea Bryan was so young. I stumbled on his site nosing around for information on Blue Heelers. (I've got one, named Scout, and he's insane.) Bryan has a heeler named Cooper, who is one of his favorite models. We became net buddies purely on the basis of my reaction to the quality of his photography. Except that -- the website itself was so good. And then -- the writing was so good. The more I saw of what he did -- design, photography, thinking, teaching, writing -- the more impressed I became. I interviewed him (via email) for a story on Design Education I've just finished for STEP Magazine. ( Great magazine, very FAST.) Once again, I had to dial up my opinion of this man I've never met because he nailed much of what I'd been getting from some pretty lofty academics. Only he did it without the cliches. And now this entry. Jeez. Is there anything he isn't curious about? Doesn't want to do? Good on you, Bryan. One of these days, we're gonna meet. I'll bring Scout." -Dianna Edwards - Atlanta, Georgia
