Any designer will tell you that feedback is precious. It helps us make sure we’re meeting our objectives, warns us if we’re going in the wrong direction, and guides the flow of our ideas. Notable was originally designed to help making giving and soliciting feedback as easy as possible. But it’s not just about making it easy, it’s also about speeding up that process. The quicker you can get the feedback you need, the faster you can iterate and get to the right answer.
For the last few months, we’ve been working hard on optimizing the app in a variety of ways. We’ve made huge progress in both the speed and efficiency of the tools, but we noticed that some slowdown was creeping into our workflow while working between modules. Because each one had it’s own interface and layout, there was a mental cost switching between them. Obsessed with speed, our team immediately got to work to see how we could provide a more harmonious experience between all the modules.
We’re excited to share that we’ve designed a new, unified topbar between all five modules in Notable! Jump seamlessly between Notebooks, Prototypes, Tests, Stories and Code, without having to stop and get your bearings. Collaborators and stakeholders now have a consistent means to navigate the app and leave comments, speeding up the feedback process and leaving you more time to work on your designs. If you're signed up for a our private release, you can check out the new streamlined topbar now!
This is the latest leap forward in our development of Notable, and we have several more planned over the next few months. If you haven’t already, sign up for the private release and check out how Notable can help your organization move projects forward.
