the first iPhone Wallpaper i made because i got bored of my old one...
edit: i attached another version of this wallpaper to this post - for those who would like to have the wording centered, because of the iPhone lockscreen.
Gr8 .... Can u tell me the font please !
@mutahharmk I believe the font he used was "Code"
@tajdid yes you're totally right its "code light" fontfabric.com/code-free-font-3/
@tajdid by the way it's a "she" ;)
@JMGdesign :P haha .... BTW never write IT IS A SHE ! :P Wrong feeling !
@mutahharmk alright, if you say so, let's just say: I'm a she ;) better?
@JMGdesign Oops. I'm sorry, I just looked at the art work and totally missed your name. :P
now do ipad :D
Really nice wallpaper.
But i think the text is placed too high. On my iphone's lockscreen i see it just under the time bar. In my opinion it should be closer to the vertical center, and also horizontally centered.
@dansitek yep ur right, haven't thought about that, take a look at the attachement to this post ;)
@JMGdesign fantastic :)
I agree with @dansitek, I edited it for my own personal use and I like it centered like this -> tfsh.us/… But I love your design! Great work!
Loving the retro isometric / distressed feel you have going on here, i'd like this on my iPhone me thinks ;)
I feel there is a little bit of a disconnect between the clean illustrator vector shapes and the hand done smudges. It has the kind of cliche, straight out of photoshop, look that I think is being overused in design today. I think this would be better if it were all hand done.
On top of that, conceptually, it doesn't make any sense. How do shapes with smudges make you feel like you want to "start something." With that phrase I feel there should be something more inspirational and thought evoking like an illustration of a trailhead into some kind of mystical forest or something.
The three dots after are also confusing.
@alexmcadoo i respect your opinion, i just don't get what you mean with "I think this would be better if it were all hand done."? like should i grab a pencil and paper or what?
Love love love this. Just added it to my phone.
They gave me this piece to critique in order sign up for the site. Sorry if I was rude! I was just trying to come up with something to show I can critique. I had a hard time finding something wrong and I didn't know this would go up on your comment wall! I really do like this piece I guess I just enjoy hand drawn stuff. Hope I didn't offend.
@alexmcadoo don't worry you didn't! I was just curios.
Love the texture in this.
