Personal branding

I needed a new portfolio so I started thinking about what I could do to "stand out" and since I've been living abroad for almost 10 years I wanted to get back to my "roots". Vikings are a big part of Swedish and scandinavian history and I've come to appreciate it more and more over the years. It's such a big contrast to the more refined Italian culture where I live nowdays. I decided to make my personal logo with viking runes (the younger futhark) and build the rest of the branding around that. I'd love to hear your thoughts about it!

Petite Curie logo

I started working on Petite Curie's new "quirkier" look (doing a complete rebrand of the blog petitecurie.com). Petite Curie is named after Marie Curie and we wanted to incorporate her famous frase "nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood" and her Petit Curie automobiles which brought X-rays to the Front in World War I. This logo is suposed to incorporate these two concepts. This is the first version so I'm pretty sure there will be alterations...and I'll probably skip the phrase in smaller sizes. All feedback is appreciated. thanks! thanks!

Tips on responsive web design sites or websites designed for ipad?

I'm looking for material/inspiration for my first website that is going to be designed for an Ipad/tablet (the client want an ipad ready website). Since it's a product website it will have many categories with products where each product is going to have a lot of extra downloadable material so I'm also looking for a good solution to view these products on a tablet. Since I have no experience from this all tips are welcome! Does anyone have links or tips on websites of this kind?
