Annotations Are Being Removed to Make Room for New Features
We've been teasing our Influence users for quite awhile about some major changes coming to the app. We are super excited to announce a whole new way to interact with Influence and get feedback from your team and clients with Pips.

What's a Pip
A pip is a way to leave a question, poll or note directly on your design work to get specific and direct feedback.

Types of Pips
- Free Response: With a free response pip, you can prompt your team with an open-ended question for a response on specific elements of your design.
- Yes/No: Get a quick yes or no response from your team members, by prompting users with a quick question.
- Multiple Choice: Poll your team and give them a couple quick options for your design.
- Descriptions: Don't need feedback? Explain your design choices by adding a quick descriptive pip.
To create a pip, start to upload a presentation as you normally would. After you save your uploaded screens, you will be prompted by the new Pip screen. Click anywhere on your screen that you wish to leave a pip.
Select your desired pip type from the drop down box and leave your team a note or question.
Annotations Are Going Away
We like to keep our apps simple and not get loaded with too many features. To make room for Influence's new features and the new direction for the app, we will be removing the Annotation feature as of July 27, 2012.
If you have any data you do not wish to lose, please back up this data no later than July 26, 2012. Also if you require the use of annotations, please considering trying out Notable or for a free alternative, check out Bounce.
