Rebuilding Our App Marketing Pages

The new ZURB.com was a process about 3 years in the making. But we knew with that launch our work was far from over. We have plenty of apps, including Notable, Verify, Influence and Solidify that needed a refresh as well.

Last week we relaunched new sites for Notable and Solidify and today, launched a new website for Influence (a new site for Verify will be launched next week). Each page will be filled with a lot more information about the apps, their features and what they can do for you.

While our pages were perfectly acceptable, they definitely lacked consistency with each other and didn't position our apps as the powerful tools that they are.

Solidify, whose previous page design can be seen on the left, was very mysterious. With Solidify in private release, we didn't give too many details on the app itself. Now the site is complete with examples, testimonials, a tour page and even an animated product video.

Like any design process, we went through several iterations and prototypes before deciding on exactly what we wanted and what we felt positioned our apps in the most effective manner. Using Notable's new post iteration feature, we were able to go through several different variations.

We started our process with a few sketches and a little copywriting to to hone on how we would like to present the app on it's new site. We used Influence to share some of our design work with the team and got lots of feedback.

Here is one of our earliest Influence sketches which we shared with each other to collect feedback:

After a a few iterations of sketches, we started putting together a few hi-res mock ups. Which were shared in Notable to get specific feedback on individual pages. Click the screen shot below to dive into our design process and see some of the different iterations we went through for the Solidify tour page.

We are extremely excited about the results and hope that our users will be as well. Please let us know what you think about the new pages. Do they answer all of your questions? Anything missing?

As usual if you have any questions, comments, or just want to chat with us about our new pages, shoot us an e-mail or follow our apps on Twitter; NotableApp, SolidifyApp, InfluenceApp and VerifyApp.
