Notable: Dashboard Now Filters for Mobile

This morning, a Notable customer sent us a question on our Live Chat support:

Hey, I just noticed the mobile icon on several posts – what is it?

Great question! We just launched a new feature in Notable that lets you filter your posts so that you can tell which ones were uploaded from a mobile device from those that were uploaded from a desktop computer.

You will see this new addition on your dashboard filter in your Notable account.

How does Notable determine if a post is from a mobile device?

Based on the size of the post, Notable will determine if an image was captured on a desktop or mobile device. Posts that have a width of less than 768px, but more than 200px will be considered mobile.

What if my post is not actually from a mobile device?

Easy! Select the new mobile icon located to the left of your post’s title. Simply click on the icon to dim it. Notable will now recognize that your post was uploaded from a desktop or laptop.

What about sets that contain a mix of mobile and desktop posts?

If a set contains any mobile device posts, that set will be shown when the filter is applied and will have the mobile icon on it's thumbnail.
