About the position
You love to learn about new companies and organizations and what they do. You like uncovering problems that people don’t even realize are a problem. And you’re likely a pretty outgoing person and have been called a “people-magnet” because you’re that cool.
We’re looking for an advocate that understands true growth can only happen with long-term relationships and asking lots, and lots, and lots of questions. You’ve been very successful within “sales”, but you know the old-school sales approaches just don’t work for sustainable growth. You’ve probably found yourself turning just about anything into a competition…a “friendly” game of Flip Cup quickly has you high-fiving and you likely have more than one trophy for Ping-Pong or a Competitive Eating Contest. You love to be challenged and you like to win, but only when it’s a win for both your company and your customer. Having the right conversations with the right person is fun and you love to be on the phone.

What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with the multiple teams, a typical day has you on the phone chatting up potential and existing enterprise customers. You’ll ask lots of questions because you love understanding the problems different companies are facing. You’re fearless at learning about new-to-you markets and verticals, because ZURB works with everyone! At 9:30am you might be having a conversation with an e-commerce company in London about their omni-channel struggles and by 2:30pm speaking with a silicon-valley start-up founder about how her new app will change the world. You’ll learn a lot and most importantly, help these companies solve some of the most complex problems!
What You Bring To The Table
As a ZURB Advocate, we’d like you to have the following experience
- Proven success in uncovering complex problems and providing solutions
- 4+ hours daily supporting customers by phone
- Ability to clearly express yourself both in person and on paper
- Working with and supporting multiple teams simultaneously
- Customer advocacy, customer experience or inside sales experience with Enterprise clients
- 3+ years inside sales experience
Other skills we're looking for
- A love for networking and meeting new people
- Customer relationship building, including writing email and asking probing questions
- Passion for understanding problems quickly
- BONUS POINTS: Have a passion for product design!
